The Consulting Detective

This website has gone through a series of evolutions and it is going through another one. I will not be removing any content but adding more. The essay about my relationship with Sherlock Holmes is woefully out of date. It ends with my intention to write more about Sherlock Holmes. It lacks mention of four novels, a bunch of Sherlock Holmes short stories, and other publications. It fails to mention that I was Chief Surgeon of Dr Watson's Neglected Patients from January 2012 to January 2023, or my work with Leslie Klinger's copyright lawsuit. There is much more to say.

I also intend to add essays about some topics I researched while writing the books. I also want to open up sections on other detectives.

All this means I will have to change the navigation structure a bit. Otherwise the pages will get top heavy. I am thinking of creating a table of contents page that the individual pages link to. I think I will add more pictures, too. I have scanned many of the Paget & Steele images since this site was first created.
